1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that:

• You are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
• You comply with all applicable laws when using the Service.

2. Description of Service

FoodSens AI provides:

• AI-powered restaurant recommendations
• Map-based search results
• Dish explanations, menu translations, and ingredient analysis
• Personalized suggestions based on preferences
• Chat interactions with an AI assistant
• Limited free demo usage and paid access options

The Service is intended for travel assistance and general informational purposes. It does not constitute professional advice (medical, dietary, legal, etc.).

3. Free Plan

The Free Plan offers a demo version of the Service, allowing users to try each function once:

• One AI chat interaction
• One restaurant search
• One dish explanation or menu analysis

We may update or limit free usage at any time.

4. Paid Products

Paid Products include:

4.1 7-Day Pass — USD 3.99

Temporary unlimited access to premium features.

4.2 14-Day Pass — USD 5.99

Extended temporary access.

4.3 Monthly Subscription — USD 7.99 / month

Auto-renews until canceled.

4.4 Annual Subscription — USD 49.99 / year

Auto-renews annually until canceled.

Paid access includes:

• Unlimited restaurant search
• Unlimited dish explanations
• Menu translation and ingredient breakdown
• Personalized recommendations
• Preference filters (budget, spice, distance)

5. Account Registration

Accounts are created on chat.foodsens.ai. You must provide a valid email and maintain secure access to your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.

You may cancel anytime via:

• the Account → Subscription page, or
• contacting support at hi@foodsens.ai

Cancellation stops future charges. You retain access until the end of the paid period.

7. Payment Processing

We use Stripe for payment processing. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy practices.

We do not store full payment card information on our servers.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, incorporated into these Terms.

9. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This AUP describes prohibited activities related to using FoodSens AI.

9.1 Prohibited Behavior

You agree NOT to:

• Use bots, automation, or scraping tools
• Perform large-scale extraction of data or AI outputs
• Upload harmful, illegal, or explicit content
• Interfere with Service performance or security
• Attempt to bypass paywalls
• Reverse-engineer the Service or models
• Misrepresent your identity
• Violate third-party rights or laws

9.2 Enforcement

We may temporarily or permanently suspend accounts that violate this policy. Refunds are not provided for suspensions due to abuse.

10. AI Disclaimer

The Service uses AI models provided through third-party APIs (including OpenAI). AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or offensive.

You agree to use AI-generated content at your own risk. We make no guarantee of accuracy.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with:

• OpenAI (AI processing)
• Vercel (hosting, AI Gateway)
• Google Maps API (location search)
• Stripe (billing)
• Analytics providers (GA4, Plausible, LogSnag)

Use of the Service constitutes agreement to the terms of these providers.

12. Data Retention and Deletion

Chat history may be stored indefinitely unless:

• you request deletion, or
• we are required to delete it by law.

You may request account deletion at hi@foodsens.ai.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid in the last 12 months.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page.
